Learning is very complex and diverse. There is not one way that is right or wrong. There is not one way of learning that is better than another. Learning is specific to those doing it. Everyone is different and learns differently, so it is not unrealistic that there are many different ways of learning.
As we acquire more knowledge, the way we learn that knowledge also changes. People will always be trying new ways of learning things. Ways that are easier to learn the information, ways that make the learning more understandable, ways that help us learn how to use that knowledge.
Will there ever be one dominant way to learn information? Society is so complex and diverse, people are so complex and diverse I do not believe that there will ever be one dominant learning style, or theory. I believe that the way we learn today will be different than the way our kids learn and the way their kids learn. As society evolves so do our ways of thinking and learning.
